The Chief Executive Officer together with the board is responsible for the strategic direction of Rising Phoenix and ensuring that the organisation is solvent and complaint with national legislation. The duties of this unit include management, fundraising and external relations with government and civil society partners.

REDD+

In 2023 an REDD+ feasibility study for Siem Pang Wildlife Sanctuary was completed. This was commissioned by USAID Morodok Baitang and undertaken by Green Collar. The report represented the first step towards the realization of REDD+ funding for Siem Pang. Upon realization, REDD+ funding will provide a reliable and long-term source of financial support for our work. As of 2025, the completion of our REDD+ project document, verification in 2026, and eventual on-stream debut in 2027, will offset dependence on corporate donor support.
